Sarasota Bayfront & Island Park
Sarasota, FL

South Lido Beach & Ted Sperling Park
South Lido Key, Sarasota, FL

The following is quoted from the Sarasota County Parks & Recreation Web Site:

South Lido Beach and Ted Sperling Park are located on Ben Franklin Drive at the southern tip of Lido Key. They offer an exceptional beach experience, picturesque views, picnic tables and a playground.

South Lido Nature Park off Taft Drive, offers a nature trail, a canoe/kayak launch, and a self-guided canoe/kayak trail.

These parks provide unique opportunities for visitors to enjoy natural Florida beaches. They are contiguous sections of a 100- acre property that interacts with four bodies of water; The Gulf of Mexico, Big Pass, Sarasota Bay and Brushy Bayou. Because of their convergence, currents run swift in some areas of the shoreline, and swimming should take place in designated areas only.
